Job Summary

The Engineering Assistant will oversee refrigeration systems, HVAC equipment, chilled water distribution, and LPG facilities while coordinating maintenance activities, supervising outsourced work, maintaining engineering documentation, and supporting factory engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all chillers, process cooling equipment, and chilled water distribution systems.
• Operate and maintain ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems throughout the factory.
• Manage LPG tank farms and the LPG distribution system.
• Plan and carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure the availability of required spare parts for maintenance operations.
• Adhere to company hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Maintain maintenance logs, checklists, engineering records, and related documentation.
• Coordinate and utilize technician resources to achieve operational targets.
• Supervise outsourced maintenance work and related documentation.
• Participate in ongoing factory engineering and improvement projects.
• Perform additional engineering duties assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or NVQ Level 4/5 with relevant experience.
• Passed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination.
• Technical knowledge of:
  • Chillers
  • HVAC Systems
  • Chilled Water Distribution Systems
  • Maintenance and Troubleshooting
• Familiarity with SAP ERP, Microsoft Office, and email applications.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
