📝 Job Description
The Engineer (Network Planning & Optimization) – ZTE Lanka (Pvt) Ltd will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and improving radio network performance across multi-technology environments. The role involves KPI analysis, troubleshooting, cluster optimization, and customer support to ensure superior network quality and performance.
🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize 2G / 3G / 4G / 5G radio networks
- Perform radio network planning and optimization to improve KPIs
- Analyze network performance, investigate issues, and implement improvements
- Troubleshoot network quality and performance problems
- Provide technical support to customers in network optimization activities
- Work closely with Project Managers to complete cluster optimization and launches
- Ensure all deliverables meet customer expectations and network quality standards
- Support continuous improvement of overall network performance and efficiency
🎓 Educational Qualifications
- BSc Engineering Degree (Telecommunication Engineering preferred)
- Or equivalent qualification from a recognized university
🧠 Experience & Competencies
- 1–5 years of experience in Network Planning & Optimization
- Strong knowledge of GSM / UMTS Base Station Subsystems
- Experience in radio optimization and KPI analysis
- Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Customer-oriented mindset with attention to network quality
