Engineer – Converged Charging – Dialog Axiata PLC

The Job:

• Research and design detailed blueprints for new divisional projects.
• Develop project roadmaps and conduct detailed analyses of plans and objectives.
• Execute new projects focused on operational optimization in Charging/Billing and surrounding systems, including application modernization and cloudification.
• Conduct end-to-end feasibility checks for new services with OCS functionality.
• Provide support to other divisions for service integrations and implement new services to optimize existing service delivery.
• Create new offers, including promotional offers and tariff creations, while advising business units on the technical feasibility of new services.
• Prepare testing plans, coordinating internally and with external divisions.
• Conduct product-related troubleshooting during the Pre-Launch Assurance (PLA) stage and post-launch to ensure service accuracy.
• Monitor service behavior to ensure new services function correctly and maintain issue-free services through regular tasks.
• Manage system configuration changes and provide 24×7 third-level on-call support for OCS and related systems.
• Lead network traffic handling activities during peak times and emergencies.
• Develop operational optimizations and digitization/automation of proactive monitoring.
• Create web service-related scripts for daily tasks and project purposes, along with back-end scripts for monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Share knowledge of operational processes with the team and advise on improvements.

The Person:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Telecommunication/Computer Science).
• System Administration certification (RedHat).
• Cloud certification (AWS/GCP).
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in project planning, execution, and management. –
• Proficient in operating systems: Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
• Experience with scripting languages: Shell, Java, PHP, Python
• Familiarity with databases: Oracle, MySQL, Clickhouse.
• Knowledge of protocols: SOAP, REST, Diameter, Camel, SS7 Signaling.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, system configurations, and new service integration in Telecommunication nodes such as OCS.
