Job Overview

The Colombo South Multi-Purpose Cooperative Society is looking for experienced and responsible Drivers to handle the transportation requirements of the society, ensuring the safe delivery of goods and personnel.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate society vehicles for the transport of staff and materials.
Maintain the vehicle in good working condition, ensuring regular cleaning and routine checks.
Maintain accurate logbooks regarding mileage, fuel consumption, and trips.
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet one of the following qualification criteria:

Option 1: Have at least 03 years of permanent service in a 105:11 salary scale position within the Cooperative service and possess a valid driving license.
Option 2: Possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License and have at least 03 years of experience as a driver in a recognized institution or a reputed private company.

General Criteria:

Age: Between 18 and 45 years.
Residency: Must have been a permanent resident of the Western Province for at least 03 years.

Salary and Benefits

Salary Scale: 14,504 – 21,254/- (Grade 105:10 III)
Allowances: * 15% Cost of Living allowance.
- Specific monthly allowances ranging from Rs. 2,500 to Rs. 10,000 based on government and society circulars.
