Job Description
The National Child Protection Authority is seeking qualified individuals to fill eleven vacancies for the position of District Psychosocial Officer.
Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must satisfy the following educational requirements:

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Health Promotion, Speech and Hearing Sciences, Education in Special Needs, or Education for Dramas and Theater recognized by the University Grants Commission (U.G.C.).

Experience: A minimum of one (01) year of post-qualifying experience in the relevant field in a government corporation, board, or a reputed institution.

Preferred Qualification: A one-year Diploma in Counseling recognized by the University Grants Commission or Tertiary/Vocational Education Commission will be considered an added advantage.
Age Limit
-
Applicants must be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years of age.

The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.
Salary Scale
-
Salary Code: MA 5-3 – 01/2016.

Scale: Rs. (46,375 – 10 x 1,100 – 10 x 1,440 – 10 x 2,020 – 91,975).

Initial Salary: Rs. 46,375/- (as at 01.01.2020).
