Job Description

The National Child Protection Authority is seeking qualified individuals to serve as District Child Protection Officers across various districts.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences or Health Promotion or any other relevant degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (U.G.C.).

• Experience: Minimum of one (01) year post-qualifying experience in the relevant field in a government corporation, board, or a reputed institution.

• Added Advantage: A Postgraduate Diploma with subjects relevant to children or counseling recognized by the U.G.C. or Tertiary/Vocational Education Commission will be considered an added advantage.

Age Limit

• Applicants must be between 22 and 45 years of age.

• Note: The upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.

Salary Scale

• Salary Code: MA 5-3 – 01/2016.

• Scale: Rs. (46,375 – 10 x 1,100 – 10 x 1,440 – 10 x 2,020 – 91,975).

• Initial Salary: Rs. 46,375/- (as at 01.01.2020).
