Job Description

The Public Service Cooperative Credit and Savings Society Ltd. is seeking a qualified professional to fill the vacancy of Deputy General Manager (Finance) III on a contract basis.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must satisfy one of the following criteria:

• Option 1: A postgraduate degree from a recognized university relevant to the scope of the post, along with 10 years of experience in an executive-level position in a recognized institution.

• Option 2: A degree from a recognized university relevant to the scope of the post, along with 12 years of experience in an executive-level position in a recognized institution.

• Professional Requirement: In addition to the above, candidates must have passed the final exam of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CASL), the final exam of the Chartered Management Accountants (CIMA), or the final exam of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA).

General Conditions

• Salary: Negotiable based on qualifications, subject to the Cooperative Society Circulars and amendments.

• Benefits: Entitled to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).

• Agreement: The selected candidate will be required to enter into a service agreement that is updated annually.

• Preference: Preference will be given to qualified applicants who have been permanently residing within the Western Province for more than 05 years.

• Internal Candidates: Those currently employed in registered cooperative societies or associations should submit their applications through their respective Heads of Institutions.
