The Sri Lanka German Training Institute (SLGTI) – Kilinochchi Branch is seeking a qualified professional for the permanent position of Deputy Branch Principal (HM 1-1).

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants can apply under either the External or Internal category:

External Candidates

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Public Administration, Commerce, Science, or any other degree recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

• Postgraduate Qualification: Must possess a Master’s Degree in a relevant field or Associate Membership of a recognized professional chartered institute relevant to the subject area of the post (for Engineering posts, Corporate Membership).

• Experience: A minimum of 13 years of experience at a Managerial Level in a Corporation, Statutory Board/Institution, or a reputed private institution after obtaining the first degree.

Internal Candidates

• Must have obtained the qualifications required for external candidates mentioned above.

• OR Completion of a minimum of three (03) years of satisfactory service in the Manager category (MM 1-1) Grade I in a subject area relevant to the post.

• Specific Requirement: For internal candidates in the Manager category, they must possess a Postgraduate Degree or Associate Membership of a recognized professional chartered institute relevant to the subject area.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary Scale: According to DMS Circular No. 01/2025: HM 1-1 – Rs. 140,640 – 4,100 x 15 – Rs. 202,140.

• Current Monthly Pay: As of January 1, 2026, the basic salary is Rs. 123,019 plus government-approved allowances.

• Provident Fund: Employee contributes 8%, while the employer contributes 12%.

• ETF: The institution contributes 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund.

Key Details

• Age Limit: Between 35 and 55 years (upper limit does not apply to internal candidates).

• Method of Selection: Selection will be based on the result of a structured interview.

• General Eligibility: Must be a Sri Lankan citizen, physically and mentally fit, and of excellent moral character.
