Sarvodaya Development Finance PLC (SDF) is inviting applications for the position of Senior Credit Risk Analyst / Credit Risk Analyst. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in credit analysis or risk management within the banking or Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the company’s credit risk framework and supporting effective risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare periodic reports on credit risk exposures, trends, and emerging issues for senior management.
• Assess the effectiveness of credit risk mitigation measures and provide recommendations to strengthen credit quality.
• Contribute to enhancing the overall credit risk management framework.
• Conduct stress testing on key credit risk parameters.
• Review and improve credit risk management policies and frameworks.
• Review credit facilities and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Conduct product-related risk assessments.
• Identify early warning signals by reviewing existing credit facilities to minimize potential credit risks.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• A degree from a recognized university or a full professional qualification such as:
  • CIMA
  • CA
  • CMA
  • Or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Post-qualification experience in:
  • Credit Analysis, or
  • Risk Management within the Banking or NBFI sector.
• Excellent communication skills in:
  • English
  • Sinhala
  • Tamil
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Self-motivated, performance-driven, and able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
