Job Description

The Career Guidance Counsellor will be responsible for supporting student affairs activities, providing career guidance services, and assisting students in achieving their academic and professional goals. The role includes counselling, coordination, and participation in student development programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide career guidance and counselling services to students
• Support student affairs and development programs
• Assist in organizing career-related workshops and activities
• Guide students in academic and career planning
• Maintain records and reports related to student counselling
• Collaborate with academic and administrative staff
• Ensure effective communication with students and stakeholders

Requirements

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (First or Second Class) from a recognized University/HEI

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Student Affairs or a related field

Skills & Competencies

• Good command of English communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and counselling skills
• Ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds
• Organizational and administrative capabilities

Additional Preferences

• Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management or Counselling
• Experience in career guidance activities

Age Requirement

• Between 22 – 45 years

• Salary Scale: Rs. 85,305 – 128,505 (U-AS 2 (II))
