Job Overview

The Industrial Development Board is seeking a highly experienced and result-oriented Marketing Consultant on an assignment basis to lead and execute strategic marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical capability, extensive industry exposure, and the ability to drive corporate marketing objectives effectively.

Key Responsibilities & Competencies

• Develop, plan, and execute comprehensive corporate marketing strategies with optimal resource utilization.

• Liaise and maintain strong relationships with mainstream media and digital media platforms.

• Provide strategic marketing direction aligned with organizational goals.

• Apply data-driven decision-making methodologies to optimize marketing performance.

• Ensure effective cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must meet the following qualification criteria:

• Educational/Professional Qualifications: BSc and MBA with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar capacity.

• Professional Certification: Full professional qualification from Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) or Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM).

• Communication: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Public Speaking: Public speaking capability will be an added advantage.

• Interpersonal Skills: Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Age Limit: Between 40 and 60 years.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary: Negotiable.

• EPF/ETF: Entitled to an EPF contribution (10% by the employee, 12% by the Board) and a 3% ETF contribution by the Board.
