We are looking for a Civil Engineer for our Wind Power Project in Mannar.

Role Overview

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for managing and supervising civil works for a wind power project in Mannar, with a strong focus on piling works and road construction. The role involves coordinating site activities, contractors, and project teams to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Oversight: Oversee and manage civil works for wind power projects.

• Supervision: Supervise piling activities, foundation works, and access road construction.

• Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely execution.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.

• Reporting: Monitor site progress and material usage, and prepare progress reports.

• Problem Solving: Resolve site-related technical issues and support project delivery.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering.

• Experience:

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in piling and road construction.

  • Prior experience in wind power, power, or infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications.

• Skills: Good communication and coordination skills.

• Availability: Willingness to be based in Mannar on a full-time basis.
