Job Description

The Public Service Cooperative Credit and Savings Society Ltd. is seeking a qualified professional for the position of Chief Internal Auditor III on a permanent basis.

Basic Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements:

• Option 1: A Postgraduate Degree in Accounting or Business Management from a recognized University, with 02 years of experience in an executive-level position in the accounting/auditing field in a recognized institution.

• Option 2: A Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or Commerce from a recognized University, with 04 years of experience in an executive-level position in the accounting/auditing field in a recognized institution.

• Option 3: A 04-year Diploma in Accountancy/Commerce from a Technical College of Sri Lanka or Higher Technological Education Institution, with 05 years of experience in an executive-level position in the field of Accounting/Auditing in a recognized institution.

• Option 4: Passed the second stage of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or passed the final exam of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants with 05 years of experience in an executive-level position in the field of accounting/auditing in a recognized institution.

Salary & Benefits

• Salary Scale: Rs. 57,400 – 1200 x 10.

• Allowances: A cost of living allowance of Rs. 17,800/- and other allowances approved by the Cooperative Employees Commission are also entitled.

General Conditions

• Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 45 years of age (upper age limit does not apply to those currently in cooperative service).

• Retirement Benefits: This is a permanent position with contributions to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) and Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).

• Probation: Appointments are subject to a probationary period of three (03) years.

• Residence Preference: Preference will be given to qualified applicants who have permanently resided in the Western Province for more than 05 years.

• Internal Applicants: Those employed in registered cooperative societies/associations must submit applications through their respective Heads of Institutions.
