Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• A Master’s Degree or MBA will be a significant advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 10–15 years of progressive IT experience.
• At least 5 years in a senior technology leadership position such as:
  • Chief Information Officer (CIO)
  • Head of IT
  • Equivalent executive technology leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing enterprise systems, cloud technologies, IT governance, and data management.
• Previous experience in the insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry is preferred.
• Experience in General Insurance and InsurTech will be considered a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization’s long-term technology strategy aligned with business goals.
• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives and technology modernization.
• Drive innovation in InsurTech, digital claims automation, and core insurance platforms.
• Improve customer and intermediary experiences through scalable technology solutions.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to deliver digital business solutions across underwriting, claims, finance, distribution, and customer service.
• Oversee enterprise architecture, IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and technology operations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, cybersecurity frameworks, data privacy requirements, business continuity, and disaster recovery plans.
• Manage IT budgets, technology investments, vendor relationships, and service delivery.
• Build, mentor, and lead high-performing technology teams.
• Present technology strategy, transformation progress, and IT risk updates to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
