Kurunegala Plantations Limited (KPL), operating under the Ministry of Plantation & Community Infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sri Lankan citizen for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and formulate long-term strategies to enhance performance.

• Oversee all operational, financial, and administrative functions of the company.

• Ensure sustainability and productivity in coconut, rubber, tea, and other plantation crops managed by KPL.

• Foster a culture of innovation, transparency, and good governance.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Science, Business Management, or an equivalent field recognized by the University Grants Commission.

• Postgraduate: A Master’s Degree in a relevant field OR Associate Membership of a recognized Professional Chartered Institution in Management.

• Experience: At least 18 years of experience at a Managerial Level, with at least 5 years at a Senior Managerial Level in a Corporation, Board, or reputed Mercantile Establishment.

• Technical Skills: Competence in production/processing of coconut and management of coconut plantations.

• Leadership: Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage human and other resources efficiently.

Employment Details

• Age Limit: Between 35 and 55 years (upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates).

• Salary Scale (MSD 1/2025): HM-2-1 2025 Rs [161,140 – 12 x 4,850 – 219,340] + cost of living allowance and other relevant perquisites.
