Male / Female Caregiver – National Secretariat for Elders

Applications are invited from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the post of Male/Female Caregiver at the Kataragama Elders Home.

Qualifications:

Education: Must have sat for the General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination.
Experience: Must have completed a service period of not less than six (06) months in a field relevant to caregiving activities.

Age Limit & General Conditions:

Age: Between 18 and 45 years.
Conditions: Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to discharge duties, possess an excellent moral character, and abide by the Protection of Rights of Elders Act.

Salary & Appointment Details:

Nature of Appointment: Contract basis with EPF and ETF entitlement. Service may be extended on an annual contract basis depending on performance.
Monthly Salary: Rs. 36,475 + Cost of Living Allowance (As per Circular No. 01/2025).
