Qualifications & Experience

• G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) qualification.
• Diploma in Electrocardiography or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cardiographer in a healthcare institution.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate patient records.
• Sound knowledge of patient care and customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Patient-focused, responsible, punctual, and committed to delivering quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiovascular diagnostic procedures including ECGs, Exercise ECGs, Holter monitoring, ABPM, DSE, TOE, and Echocardiograms.
• Prepare patients for cardiac diagnostic procedures and provide clear instructions throughout the testing process.
• Ensure accurate recording and reporting of diagnostic findings.
• Maintain cardiology equipment and ensure proper functionality.
• Keep accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
• Provide professional patient guidance and support before, during, and after procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, infection control, and clinical quality.
