Job Overview

SriLankan Airlines is inviting applications for the position of Assurance & Advisory Services Manager to join its Corporate Offices in Katunayake. This leadership role is responsible for directing the Group Assurance & Advisory Services Division’s Continuous Monitoring & Audit Analytics function by independently evaluating internal controls, governance processes, and risk management systems. The successful candidate will also drive audit analytics strategies and support the SriLankan Airlines Audit Committee in strengthening corporate governance and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years of overall work experience, including:
  • 3 years at Managerial level.
  • 3 years at Executive level in Audit and/or Assurance Services.
• OR Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Statistics, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of overall work experience with:
  • 3 years at Managerial level.
  • 3 years at Executive level in Audit and/or Assurance Services.
• Previous experience in an Audit Firm will be an added advantage.
• Applicants should be Sri Lankan citizens.
• Applicants should not exceed 45 years of age as of 13 July 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual Continuous Monitoring engagement plan based on organizational risk assessments.
• Direct and monitor Continuous Monitoring activities to ensure effective internal controls.
• Report audit findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee and Senior Management.
• Conduct special reviews, investigations, and advisory assignments requested by senior leadership.
• Evaluate departmental processes, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Develop and implement audit analytics strategies, including data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Guide teams in applying statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to identify audit insights.
• Prepare and review Audit Committee papers for submission to the Board Audit Committee.
• Lead, mentor, and develop audit staff while monitoring individual and team performance.
• Promote continuous improvement in audit methodologies and organizational governance.
