Key Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgeting, financial planning, and budget monitoring.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and support month-end and year-end financial closing.
• Prepare annual financial statements and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash flow.
• Ensure timely statutory payments and submission of tax and regulatory returns.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Support the development and implementation of finance policies and audit recommendations.
• Prepare financial reports, analyses, and contribute to the Annual Report.
• Provide guidance in daily finance operations and perform other finance and administrative duties as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• Fully qualified AAT Sri Lanka or part/completed CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification (AAT membership is an added advantage).
• 4–6 years of experience in finance/accounting, including 2–3 years in a team leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, taxation, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and accounting software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Preferred age: 27–35 years.
