Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in banquet sales or event management, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple events, and meet deadlines.
• Professional appearance with a strong customer service orientation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Banquet Sales Manager in planning and executing banquet sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Manage event bookings from initial inquiry through to successful execution.
• Handle key client accounts, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and follow up on sales leads.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners, and social event organizers.
• Coordinate closely with Banquet Operations, Kitchen, Finance, and other departments to ensure flawless event execution.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities while identifying new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate event records, contracts, and sales documentation.
• Assist in forecasting, budgeting, and reporting banquet sales performance.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, client satisfaction, and professional brand representation.
