Job Description

We Are Hiring! Condominium Management Authority is looking for an Architect.

The Condominium Management Authority, under the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, invites applications from qualified candidates to fill the vacancy for the post of Architect.

Vacancy Details

• Position: Architect.

• Number of Vacancies: 01.

• Job Status: Permanent and Non-Pensionable.

Qualifications

For External Candidates:

1. Educational: Should have obtained a Degree in Architecture or Built Environment recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

   • AND Should have at least 01 year of experience in the relevant field after obtaining the degree.

2. OR Professional: Should have obtained Associate Membership of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects (SLIA).

   • AND Should have at least 01 year of experience in the relevant field after obtaining the qualification.

Salary Scale

• MM 1-1: Rs. 53,175 – 10×1,375 – 15×1,910 – Rs. 95,575/- (Monthly) (Based on standard MM 1-1 2016 scale implied in text).

Age Limit

• Should be not less than 22 years and not more than 45 years of age.

• The maximum age limit does not apply to internal applicants.

General Conditions

• Must be a citizen of Sri Lanka.

• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of the post and serve in any part of the island.

• Must be of excellent moral character.

Remuneration & Benefits

• EPF/ETF: The employee contributes 10% to the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF), while the employer contributes 15%. The employer also contributes 3% to the Employees’ Trust Fund (ETF).

Method of Selection

• Selection will be made based on the order of merit obtained in a Structured Interview.
