Job Description

The National Child Protection Authority is seeking qualified candidates to fill two vacancies for the position of Account Assistant based in Colombo.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must satisfy one of the following educational and professional requirements:

• Option 1: A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Commerce, or Business Administration recognized by the University Grants Commission (U.G.C.).

• Option 2: Having passed the Intermediate Examination of a recognized professional Chartered Institute in a subject area relevant to the post, along with at least one (01) year of post-qualifying experience.

Age Limit

• Applicants must be between 18 and 45 years of age.

• The upper age limit will not apply to internal candidates.

Salary Scale

• Salary Code: MA 3 – 01/2016.

• Scale: Rs. (32,200 – 10 x 445 – 11 x 660 – 10 x 730 – 5 x 950 – 54,960).

• Initial Salary: Rs. 32,200/- (as at 01.01.2020).

General Conditions

• Candidates must be citizens of Sri Lanka and of excellent moral character.

• Applicants must be physically and mentally fit to discharge duties and serve in any part of the island.

• Recruitment will be conducted through a written competitive examination and/or a structured interview.

• Government-approved cost of living allowances will be provided in addition to the basic salary.
