Qualifications & Experience

• Registration as a Nurse under SLMC (Sri Lanka Medical Council) / SLNC (Sri Lanka Nursing Council).

• 10–15 years of proven experience working specifically as a Nursing Tutor.

• Possession of a BSc in Nursing from a recognized university or accredited higher educational institution.

• Possession of an MSc in Nursing will be considered a significant advantage and a valuable asset for the role.

• Strong background in nursing education, clinical instruction, and student development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing and caregiving lectures alongside hands-on practical training sessions.

• Develop detailed lesson plans, comprehensive teaching materials, and robust student assessment tools.

• Supervise and evaluate student performance closely during both classroom instruction and clinical training phases.

• Provide continuous guidance, mentorship, and academic support to nursing and caregiving students.

• Ensure absolute compliance with professional nursing and caregiving education standards and clinical best practices.

• Contribute actively to the continuous improvement, updating, and development of nursing and caregiving education programmes.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment that promotes excellence in nursing and caregiving practice.

• Ability to conduct both theoretical and practical nursing training programmes effectively.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
