Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess one of the following qualification pathways:

Option 1

• Associate Membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA), Sri Lanka

OR

• Membership of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), UK

OR

• Membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK

AND

• Minimum four (04) years of post-qualifying experience at Accountant level in an organization with more than 100 employees

Option 2

• Degree in:
  • Accountancy
  • Finance
  • B.Com
  • Business Management

from a University approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC)

AND

• Intermediate Examination qualification of:
  • CA
  • CIMA
  • ACCA

AND

• Minimum nine (09) years of post-qualifying experience in the Accountancy or Audit field at executive level in an organization with more than 100 employees

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial reporting activities
• Prepare budgets, financial statements, and management reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and financial regulations
• Coordinate auditing and financial review processes
• Monitor financial transactions and internal controls
• Support strategic financial planning and analysis
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Assist management in financial decision-making
