Required Qualifications

External Candidates

Applicants should possess:

• A certificate of proficiency not below National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 5 in the subject area of Software Engineering
• Qualification should be issued by a Technical/Vocational Training Institute accepted by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC).

Internal Candidates

Applicants should possess the qualifications required for external candidates.

Selection Method

Selection will be based on:

• Written Competitive Examination and/or
• Structured Interview

Salary Scale

• Salary Scale:
  • LKR 50,540 – 90,270

Implementation as per Management Services Circular 01/2025:

• 2026 Salary: LKR 46,960
• 2027 Salary: LKR 50,540

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 45 years
• Upper age limit does not apply to internal candidates.
