Branch Manager Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Leading and managing branch operations efficiently
• Overseeing lending and deposit portfolios
• Achieving branch targets and minimizing Non-Performing Loans (NPLs)
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal audit requirements
• Supervising, training, and motivating branch staff
• Handling customer relationships and escalated client concerns
• Managing operational control over cash, documents, and branch processes
• Preparing management reports and supporting strategic planning
• Representing the branch in promotional and community activities

Required Qualifications & Skills

Applicants should possess:

• Full or part qualification in Banking, Marketing, Credit Management, or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of Banking/Non-Banking experience
• At least 2 years of branch operations or branch supervision experience
• Knowledge in:
  • Credit evaluation
  • Recovery management
  • Fund mobilization
  • Pawning operations
• Strong leadership and motivational skills
• Good communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to operate the branch as a profit center
