Officer – Cash Operations Job Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

• Manage and balance branch cash and petty cash on a daily basis
• Maintain both system and physical cash balances accurately
• Prepare reports on cash and cheque balances
• Ensure financial and administrative procedures are followed promptly
• Issue receipts to customers upon receiving deposits
• Maintain filing systems for finance-related activities and branch documentation
• Maintain secure key records

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in a bank or financial institution is preferred

Skills & Competencies

Candidates should possess:

• Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• IT literacy and basic computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and integrity
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
