About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Japanese Interpreter to support client communication and internal documentation translation. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and effective translation of spoken and written content, particularly policies and business communications, bridging language gaps between our Japanese-speaking clients and internal technical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide real-time interpretation during client calls, meetings, and presentations.
• Translate business documents, policies, emails, and other written materials (technical/ non-technical) from Japanese to [English] and vice versa.
• Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in both spoken and written translations.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams to facilitate smooth communication and understanding during projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Assist in creating bilingual documentation or training materials as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1-2 years of proficiency in Japanese and English, both spoken and written.
• Prior experience as an interpreter or translator, preferably in a corporate or client-facing environment.
• Strong understanding of business terminology and ability to accurately convey meaning.
• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
• Familiarity with translation tools or software is a plus.
