Farmchemie (Private) Limited, a leading manufacturer and exporter in the veterinary and feed industry, is looking for a proactive Safety & Compliance Officer to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance across operations while promoting a strong safety culture.

🎯 Job Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and environmental regulations
• Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and internal audits
• Lead incident investigations, reporting, and corrective actions
• Develop and deliver safety training programs
• Support implementation of ISO 45001 (OHSMS) and ISO 14001 (EMS) standards
• Ensure proper management of waste disposal and environmental compliance
• Track and improve safety performance metrics

🎓 Required Qualifications

✔️ Education

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field

✔️ Experience

• 2–5 years of experience in industrial safety (preferably in pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing sectors)

✔️ Certifications (Preferred)

• NEBOSH IGC
• IOSH
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor

✔️ Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of OHS laws, GMP/GxP standards, and emergency procedures
• Experience in risk assessments and incident investigations
• Excellent communication and training skills
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office and EHS systems
• Leadership ability to promote safe work practices
