📖 Job Description

Apollo Marine International, a well-established BOI-registered company engaged in seafood processing, fish and prawn farming, and feed manufacturing, is looking for a dynamic HR Manager to head its HR department.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Manage overall HR functions within the organization
• Handle Recruitment & Selection processes
• Conduct Performance Appraisals
• Oversee Employee Retention, Training & Development
• Manage Payroll, ETF & EPF, Leave & Attendance
• Handle Grievances, Staff Welfare, and Disciplinary matters
• Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures
• Liaise with Labour Department and ensure compliance
• Maintain strong employee and industrial relations

🎓 Required Qualifications

✔️ Educational Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or related field

✔️ Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR operations
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is essential

✔️ Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of HR processes and procedures
• Excellent communication skills in English (written & spoken)
• Knowledge of Sri Lankan labour laws and regulations
• Experience in recruitment, training, performance management, and compensation
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR software systems
• Strong leadership and people management skills

✔️ Additional Advantages

• Experience in ISO or BRC certified food manufacturing companies
• Candidates from Nittambuwa, Veyangoda, or Gampaha district preferred
