📖 Job Description

LAUGFS Rubber, a leading manufacturer of industrial tyres exporting to over 50 countries, is seeking a skilled maintenance professional to ensure operational efficiency and reliability of machinery and systems.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Perform machine breakdown repairs and preventive maintenance with proper documentation
• Prepare, update, and maintain engineering drawings
• Coordinate material and service requirements with Engineering Stores
• Support new product implementation activities and maintain records
• Liaise with external contractors for maintenance and repair work
• Design and implement machine improvements and modifications
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 45001 standards
• Train and develop team members while promoting 5S and housekeeping practices
• Support cost control initiatives and conduct Process FMEA for risk management

🎓 Required Qualifications

✔️ Educational Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering from a recognized institution

✔️ Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar maintenance or engineering role

✔️ Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Basic understanding of electrical systems and steel fabrication
• Knowledge of LEAN Management and TPM (added advantage)

✔️ Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and team coordination
• Leadership qualities with a proactive mindset
