United Motors Lanka PLC, one of the oldest and most prestigious automobile companies in Sri Lanka, is seeking a results-oriented individual for the position of PDI Assistant (Pre-Delivery Inspection).

Key Responsibilities

The PDI Assistant will be responsible for ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards before delivery:

• Inspection: Conduct thorough Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on all vehicles to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

• Testing: Perform road tests to verify the mechanical performance and handling of vehicles.

• Maintenance: Execute minor mechanical repairs, adjustments, and general maintenance as required.

• Cleaning: Ensure all vehicles are cleaned to a high standard, both internally and externally, before being handed over to customers.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all inspections and work performed.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Should have passed the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) examination.

• Technical Background: Completion of a full-time mechanical course at a recognized institute (such as CGTTI, NAITA, or VTA).

• Licensing: Must possess a valid driving and riding license.

• Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the automobile industry is preferred.

• Attributes: High attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
