Softlogic Holdings PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s most dynamic conglomerates, is inviting applications for the position of Customer Support Executive – IT to join Softlogic Information Technologies (Pvt) Ltd.

Job Profile

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Technical Knowledge: Excellent knowledge of networking principles, Desktop applications, and operating systems (Windows, OSx, Linux).

  • Hardware & Security:

    • Excellent knowledge in computer hardware and peripherals.

    • Knowledge in cyber security tools including AV (Antivirus).

    • Knowledge in Access control and CCTV systems.

  • Experience:

    • Proven work experience as an IT / Technical support engineer in a reputed organization supporting a large user base.

    • Hands-on experience in ITSM tools such as BMC, Service Now, Jira Service Desk, ZenDesk.

  • Task Management: Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Candidate Profile

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education:

    • Should have a Degree or a HND in IT from a recognized University/Institute.

    • Certification in CCNA, MCP is required.

  • Experience: Minimum 02 years’ working experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an IT Firm.

  • Age: Should be below 35 years of age.

  • Skills:

    • Should possess a good command of English and Sinhala communication skills.

    • Self-starter who can work with minimum supervision and ability to work in a flexy working environment, with a Can-Do attitude.

    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    • Excellent interpersonal and Customer care skills with a collaborative mindset.

  • Other Abilities:

    • Ability to communicate technical information in an accessible manner to employees.

    • Software maintenance and testing capability with a process improvement mindset.

    • Experience with Vendor relations.

    • Should be able to work in any other IT related function to support the Team.
