Number of Vacancies: 02

Job Description:

• Maintenance of laboratory quality procedures
• Activities related to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
• Supporting authorized officers in laboratory units

Qualifications & Experience (External & Internal):

• Degree in Science with Chemistry or Microbiology (UGC recognized)
• Minimum 01 year post-qualifying laboratory experience in a public or reputed private sector organization (ISO 17025 accredited)

🔹 2. Market Analyst – JM-1-1 Grade II

Job Description:

• Collecting and analyzing market data related to Ceylon Tea
• Evaluating global market opportunities and strategies
• Assisting in market forecasting and strategic planning

Qualifications & Experience:

External Candidates:

• Degree (UGC recognized) preferably in Economics / Marketing / Commerce / Business / Public Administration / Agriculture
• Minimum 01 year post-qualifying experience

Internal Candidates:

• Minimum 05 years satisfactory service as Management Assistant Grade I (Non-Technical)
• Diploma or higher qualification in Marketing

🔹 3. Confidential Secretary – JM-1-1 Grade II

Job Description:

• Assisting the Director General
• Organizing Board, Audit Committee, and Stakeholder meetings
• Preparing minutes and handling secretarial duties of the Chairman

Qualifications & Experience:

External Candidates (one of the following):

1. Bachelor’s Degree (UGC recognized) + 01 year experience as Confidential Secretary
2. NVQ Level 6 Advanced Diploma in Company Administration & Secretarial Proficiency + 06 years experience

Internal Candidates:

• Five (05) years satisfactory service as Management Assistant Grade II (Non-Tech) with Secretarial qualification

• Competitive Examination and Structured Interview

• Language Proficiency – 100 marks

🔹 4. Investigation Officer – MA-5-2 Grade II

• Regulatory and development functions under Sri Lanka Tea Board Law

• Approximate gross salary: Rs. 74,699

Age Limits

• Junior Manager (JM-1-1): 22 – 45 years
• Management Assistant (MA-5-2): 22 – 45 years
